Getting close to the end of the season and the stress increases

AFC Bournemouth

Being a football fan can be a very stressful hobby, especially if your team is in or near the relegation zone. This stress becomes greater as you get to the end of the season and there are less games left. Not only do you hope that your team wins, but you also hope that others close to you in the table lose.

AFC Bournemouth find themselves just 7 points clear of the relegation zone with 6 games left to play. Three teams get relegated from the Premier League each season. There are currently 5 teams below Bournemouth and also 4 teams just above us with a point more than us. The table is tight and a lot can happen in 6 games.

Ultimately, Bournemouth are in control of their own destiny as they face 2 of the teams who are currently at the bottom of the table – Sunderland who are almost certainly going to be relegated and Middleborough. These two teams have consistently been the worst 2 teams in the League and based on their performances deserve to go down.

It will be a struggle for the Cherries to gain any points this weekend as they travel to Spurs (Tottenham Hotspur) who are in excellent form and are scoring with ease. Spurs are currently in 2nd place in the League and are pushing hard against the leaders Chelsea.
