The Cherries came from behind again to take a deserved point against Crystal Palace. Bournemouth started well and could have taken the lead in the first minute, but Wilson was not able to get his shot away. Bournemouth won several corners in the first half, although were unable to create any clear cut chances from them.
In the 47th minute Palace won a free kick 20 yards out and Milivovejic bent the ball into the corner. The game opened up even more as the Cherries tried to score. This left them more vulnerable at he back and Van Aanholt should have made it 2-0 when he bust through. Eddie Howe brought on Mousset and King and this renewed the energy of the team, particularly when Mousset scored a fine equaliser from just outside the box in the 65th minute.
Zaha who had spurned several chances during the game put one away in the 75th to see Palace go back into the lead. The Cherries continued to work hard to try and score and their efforts were paid off when a 89th minute corner found it’s way to Joshua King at the back post where he tapped the ball in. The game ended up 2-2 with the Cherries now gaining the most points from losing positions in the English Premier League. A testimony to the commitment and fitness of the team.
