AFC Bournemouth have signed Asmir Begovic a 29 year old goalkeeper from Chelsea for 10 million pounds. He didn’t play much for Chelsea during his 2 years there – only 17 games, but has played for many seasons in the Premier League for Stoke City. This will be his second stint at Bournemouth because he played 9 times on loan from Portsmouth 10 years ago when Bournemouth were in League One. He has also played 56 times for his country, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He looks to be a great signing for Bournemouth and is likely to be the number one in front of the current goalkeeper Artur Boruc.
