The Cherries started well and dominated the first half against Everton. Unfortunately, AFC Bournemouth did not put away their chances and let Everton come back into the game during the second half.
The game started well for the Cherries and Brooks looked like he had started the scoring in the first half, but hit the post. He could have also had a penalty when he was pulled back in the box.
Everton played better in the second half and scored through Zouma in the 61st minure from a corner. The Cherries pushed hard for an equaliser and in so doing left themselves open at the back and conceded again in the 95th minute through Calvin-Lewin.
The Cherries have now lost their last 6 away games.
The only consolation about a losing trip to Liverpool is the breadth and quality of the pubs there!
