Manchester United won the Europa League Final 2-0 against Ajax of Holland on May 24, 2017. The two goals were scored by Pogba in the 18th minute and Mkhitaryan in the 48th minute. It was a comfortable win against a very youthful Ajax side and means that United will be playing in the Champions League next season.
It was a typical performance by a Mourinho(United’s manager) side which was hardworking, somewhat defensive, extremely structured and overall not very dynamic. United made themselves hard to beat and were also able to score. It is not the most exciting football to watch, but has been very effective for Mourinho and his teams over the years.
