Europa League Draw

The Draw for the Europa League took place on August 25, 2017 with the two English teams still involved facing interesting games. Arsenal who will play in the Europa League for the first time having failed to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in 20 years. Arsenal will play BATE Borisov, Cologne and Red Star Belgrade which means some tough games.

The other English team involved are Everton who will play Lyon, Atalanta and Apollon Limassol of Cyprus. Everton booked their spot in this round with a 50 metre wonder goal from new signing Sigurdsson on August 24.

If you win this tournament then you automatically win a spot to play in the Champions League in the next season. Manchester United won this tournament last season.

This is a gruelling tournament with 48 teams still playing and many more games to play if you qualify through this group stage.

The group stage will begin on September 14.
