AFC Bournemouth started well and hit the bar after only 3 minutes. Having hit the bar Stanislas then went on to score three minutes later. Spurs increasingly came back into the game and Alli scored after 35 minutes to see the teams going into the half-time break 1-1.
Sours went into the lead on the 62nd minute when Son struck home with somewhat of a miskick. The Cherries thought that they had equalised in the 84th minute from Wilson, but the goal was harshly ruled out for a push in Sanchez.
Spurs broke free in the 87th minute and Son calmly rounded Begovic to score his 2nd. Aurier then went on to score Spurs 4th goal in the 91st minute.
The final score did truly reflect the game, with one of the Spurs goals actually being offside and Bournemouth having a goal disallowed. Bournemouth can take much from this game, although they must get more points to secure their Premiership status next season.
