The Cherries beat 3-1 in another relegation battle and this result will hopefully inspire them to be more confident in the approach in games. Brighton dominated possession in the first 30 minutes and only a fine save from Ramsdale kept the score at 1-0.
This was arguably the turning point in the match and from this moment the Cherries started to open up and play with more confidence. Their confidence was heightened after Harry Wilson finished smartly from 12 yards out in the 36th minute and then a testing corner by Rico allowed Callum Wilson to put pressure on Grob who accidentally touched the ball in to make it 2-0 after 41 minutes.
The Cherries continued to grow in confidence in the second half and Callum Wilson calmly rounded the keeper in the 74th minute to make it 3-0. Mooy pulled one back in the 81st minute, but the Cherries deserved their win. Ramsdale, the Cherries keeper, did make a couple of important saves in the match and the team will need him to maintain this fine form as the relegation battle continues.
