AFC Bournemouth put on another class display and deservedly left London with a 2-1 win against West Ham. Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson had a great chance to give them the lead, but his shot was from the edge of the box was saved. Youthful summer signing for Bournemouth, Brooks, showed some classy touches and had a chance to score with his head. As with last week he missed.
It was West Ham who actually took the lead in the 33rd minute when Arnautovic put away a slightly debatable penalty which had been conceded by Aké on Hernandez.
The Cherries came out second half and played even better and a fine individual goal from Wilson gave them the equaliser in the 60th minute. Wilson broke from the half way line and beat three players before putting the ball into the net.
The Cherries scored their second in the 66th minute when a Fraser free kick was put away by Cook’s header. A great performance all around and a fine individual performance by Wilson.
