The Cherries suffered a home defeat at the hands of Burnley who won the game in the 89th minute with the only goal of the game. Bournemouth had two thirds of the possession, but were unable to create goal scoring opportunities on a wet and windy afternoon.
Burnley’s approach to the game was physical and they tried to interrupt the flow of the game as much as possible. Jay Rodriguez scored with a close range header in the 89th minute and which was the only shot on goal in the whole game.
A terrible game all around.
