AFC Bournemouth worked hard to beat Chelsea, but lost to a 51st minute strike by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard. A ball was put through in the direction of Hazard which the Cherries defender Francis was not quite able to reach and Hazard went on to hammer the ball in at the near post. Begovic, the Cherries keeper, will not be happy to concede like this.
Begovic had a mixed day making some great saves, but also made a coupe errors which could have resulted in Chelsea goals. Bournemouth put in a solid performance overall and defended well and created a couple of chances.
The Cherries remain second from bottom in the League and will need to get some points together in November when they play some seemingly weaker teams.
