The Cherries lost 3-2 at Spurs after starting the match very positively, but were victims of poor defending which saw them 3-0 down after 69 minutes. Poor defending for the first two goals allowed long balls from the Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld find their way to in form Delli Alli who finished well. These goals came in the 21st and 50th minutes with the third Spurs goal being a fine move which saw Sissoko score from a close range volley.
Bournemouth played well in parts and created chances, but did not score until substitute Harry Wilson scored an excellent free kick from 20 yards out in the 73rd minute.
He scored again in injury time and Callum Wilson had a great chance to score, but took to long to get his shot away in almost the last kick of the game.
A better performance than last week overall, but the defence cannot afford to concede so easily.
