The Cherries finally got a win after four consecutive losses. The Cherries have not been playing badly and lost three of the four games by a solitary goal. Ironically this was not their best performance in the last few games, but still deserved to win.
A cross from Fraser was headed powerfully in by Callum Wilson in the 5th minute and the game looked like it was going to be an easy one when Wilson passed through to Fraser who made it 2-0 after 22 minutes. However, Kongolo got one back for Huddersfield after 38 minutes and then made a bit of a game of it. The early work undertaken by Bournemouth was enough and they can now look forward to a home game againt Liverpool.
