The Championship Playoff finalists have now been decided and Reading and Huddersfield will play each other at Wembley Stadium on May 29.
Reading came through to the final after hard fought games against Fulham. The first game which was played at Fulham saw a 1-1 draw with Reading scoring first in the 53rd minute before Fulham got their equaliser in the 65th minute. The second leg which was played at Reading was won by a 49th minute penalty from Kermorgant. Reading can than their goalkeeper, the Omani, Al Habsi who made several match winning saves.
Huddersfield, the other finalists, had an even harder two games against local rivals Sheffield Wednesday. The first game which was played at Huddersfield was 0-0 and then the second lag went to extra time with the game tied at 1-1. No more goals came in extra time so the match went to penalties and two saves from the Huddersfield keeper, Danny Ward, saw them win 4-3 on penalties.
The winning team between Reading and Huddersfield will play in the Premier League in 2017-18. A huge prize!
