AFC Bournemouth have signed Nathan Ake from Chelsea for a club record fee. The defender played on loan for Bournemouth during the first part of the 2016-17 season, but was recalled to Chelsea.
Ake is a young defender who has represented his native Holland at every level from under-15 to under-21. He is clearly very talented and is also able to find the net – he scored 4 times in 12 appearances for the Cherries last season.
Whilst it is a lot of money to pay for any player, his potential is huge and he is still only 22. Another good signing in my opinion.
