AFCB drew 1-1 in a game of three penalties. The Cherries started slowly, but took the lead from a King penalty in the 14th minute after he was fouled by Moutinho.  From this point the Cherries started to dominate the first half and much of the second half until Wolves brought on Cavaleiro and Traoré.

There was some debate about the King penalty and Wolves felt that Lermar should have been sent off when he seemed to elbow Moutinho in the mouth when the two players went up for a header. He was given a yellow card which is his 10th meaning he will now be banned for the next 2 games.

The second penalty was another controversial one when Smith went in heavily on Doherty in the 83rd minute giving Wolves a penalty and making the game 1-1.

The Cherries were then awarded another penalty 2 minutes later when Fraser was brought down, although the contact seemed to happen outside the box.  King stepped up and hit the post.

Both teams had created chances throughout the game, including a stunning strike from Ibe who hit the bar.    A reasonable result for the Cherries who have several players injured.  Nathan Ak. was Man of the Match again.
